Is it possible to change this bunk bed in a sort of loft?
My kids are too big for the use of a bunk bed. Now they want to take lower berth and a sort of bed on stilts at the offices and things can be dragged under. Is it possible that, without undermining the stability? the bed is estimated at 300 pounds, but my children are on the heavy side. I would say that the support beams and support that others have mentioned, then get the material necessary and mounting brackets at the two poles on the wall (along the road) for additional support. I would also consider separating the base level two berths to not cause unnecessary stress and oscillations structure where up to go to bed, but I'm always nervous about it maybe just something to myself.
